Before you hire any installer
- Ask how they prep the slab. Diamond grinding is the standard; acid etching and quick sanding are not.
- Ask whether they test for moisture first. Wisconsin slabs often fail without it.
- Get the coating system, the number of coats and the warranty in writing.
- Compare at least two quotes for the same system and square footage.
